Midsblue
£3 million for Eardley??!! Football has gone mad but if Ince is willing to pay then I have a meeting up there later this week and can pick up Neal on the way and even pay for the coffee during the contract discussions. Can't see it myself and I reckon we'd rip their hand off for 66% less than that! That'll keep the wolves from the door for the rest of this season, pay for Phillips, a new RB, a new LB and Scholes on loan for the last month of season when we go up! According to BBC606 Blackburn are after Danny Simpson, a right back at Man U initially on loan......That seems more feasible than them paying 3m for Eardley. Don't think there's any chance of anywhere near that much for Eardley!!!!

LaticsAndy
But can Simpson play CM as well? Can't see it bein true at all (not for that price anyway) but as much as i rate Eardley, i'd give him a piggy back to Ewood Park for that sort of money! Diego_Sideburns
End of the 'Story of 3 million' thread? Never! Can't we get back to rubbishing the people who went to a meaningless friendly on Saturday and then had the cheek to express opinions about what they saw on the pitch, compared to what Gordon reported and Shez said afterwards? BigfinLatic
What about the people who only went to half a match on Saturday, do their opinions count? Dont tell me - you were queing at the bar for an entire HALF! ... even for you that's a record....
Diego_Sideburns
What about the people who only went to half a match on Saturday, do their opinions count? Only if they keep their comments to the second half performance. Pf course, if they were listening to Gordon's commentary in the first half on their way to the game, then they will be just as opinionated as those who didn't go
