dave_ragg1984
Ok OK! Use the PM facility boys for your little geeky NHL computer game chat...* *although I would whoop yo asses.. ... We can have afull scale NHL showdown before game 7 of the 'hawks V 'canes stanley cup final... Easily mate, we are the worst. We play on pro difficulty with shot accuracy increased, and we still dont win every game. I blame the computerised version of Colin White. He hits the puck out of play at every possible opportunity. Or the computerised version of Johnny Oduya, who refused to slap it from the blue line, and constantly fires a feeble wrist shot on net. Basically our entire D tries it's best to either spanner the puck out of play or to stand and watch whilst the computer jimmies it out of the corners and into the dangerzone. Assisted by our obsession with reaching a minimum of 20PIMS per game and you had a side who are there for the taking. We do occasionally score insanely good goals but it's not enough. We are 1-0 up in the EA Sports World Tournament final against the Ducks, after John Madden's OT winner in game 1. Its good enough for me! We do need a RW though to complete the line. Sorry No... my experience on NHL is on the playstation versions... however tempted to get an xbox just so I can join in on this kaboodle! NHL nights would be great... remotely logging in to play computer-games - then you can webcam me the matches from Dave's house.. it would be perfect, all the benefits without having to directly experience Ackey's offensive facial hair! My housemate's got an Xbox but no Xbox live unfortunately. I actually haven't played this year's version, have kept saying I won't buy it because it will ruin any effort at work this year. But finals finish next Wednesday, and I think a new purchase could be in order.

Starting to get a bit too seedy for my liking! The EA Sports Hockey League is what you want, its mega, but would require Ackey to get an xbox, which would mean he would have to get off his backside and find a job!....basically, you set up your own Hockey team with your mates, and play against other teams online. If you have 6 people you have enough for a full team, including goalies which is pretty ace!

May have to purchase one if I ever get the bonus I am owed from my Company... However - who the hell want to be the Netminder on a computer game... rubbish!!??!! I'll take my normal positions - Centre on a Checking line or Right D please boss.

Al was supposed to be hooking me up down his way! But nothing! GIT! On the other hand my sister's fella has an Xbox and could be convinced to play left D if JSS can play RW and Al right D! Good times!!
dave_ragg1984
From a neutral point of view, can these playoffs get any better!?!? 3 of the 4 second round ties going to game 7...should be fun! jsslatic
Good scrap at the end of that Ducks game. As for the Canes, they may have thrown away their chance. Does anyone know how they did in their last Game Seven? Not overly looking forward to tonight... Edited May 13, 2009 by jsslatic

BigfinLatic
Good scrap at the end of that Ducks game. Yeah, it was quality... methinks Neidermeyer may have whispered some sweet nothings in Datsyuk's ear when he missed the chance in literally the last second of the game.. datsyuk flips and Niedermayer pounded him!! Good times... massive performance by Hiller again... and Getz and Teemu were on fire... helped by a terrible piece of goaltending by Osgood, but who cares... Game 7 here we come.... Ackey
End of the second and I got bored and came home. I wanted a battle not a massacre! Credit where it's due the Pens destroyed them... it will be more about keeping calm for the next series than it will being rested!

jsslatic
Tough break last night for the Ducks. Was watching thinking Hiller would be aggrieved about Cleary's goal, and he did have a rant at the officials at the next break...but it would take balls of steel to disallow that with four minutes to go. He may have had a case that it was under control and he was pushed into the goal, but I'm not so sure, and anyway, it maybe balances out the one the Wings had disallowed in Game Four. And so, then there was one. Unanimous support from members of OWTB, yes?
