Anyone heard out about this ?

Beckford sidelined

Rumours are that Leeds United are in the running along with Blackpool and an unnamed Championship team to capture the signature of Craig Davies. Davies is currently on loan to neighbours Stockport County where he is wowing the fans with some impressive performances.

County are keen to keep his services but it is unknown if they could find the hefty transfer fee that might be required for him to remain at Edgeley Park. With Darren Beckford sidelined at Elland Road for some time it may just push Leed's hand.

This has to be some sort of joke doesn't it?

No matter what we think of Leeds, they are a club with a decent squad and I cannot see how Davies would help improve it.

However - if we assume its true then its a difficult one.

Let him go, pocket the cash and laugh as he doesn't deliver BUT the risk is he does do what we we've seen he is capable of in fits and starts, but does it regularly and gets them up. Not sure any fee would be worth having to endure that scenario for the last 5 months of the season.

if two championship clubs go in for him, and one of them is a championship club who looks like their gonna stay there, then if he has any sense of ambition he would go there, rather than a club in league 1 with from what we have seen, no guarantee of promotion whatsoever and are probably likely to be changing their manager if their current form continues

i have heard the natives in leeds are growing restless with mcallister, that was before todays result
