oafcprozac
i am thinking of writing to to have a contest between windass and a snail to see who is the slowest mover Based on Tuesday night Bob, the snail would win as Deano was competing in the 'Win a year's supply of pies, by playing musical statues on the halfway line' competition..................................................................... .....................he would have won too if some bastard trying to hit the crossbar for two ten year season tickets had not fell over the useless lump - knocking him to the ground! Diego_Sideburns
Speak of the devil, On Sultana at the moment, is that the best preparation for a 39 year old striker who is down to play 2 games in 2 days? At least Shez knows where he is.............not in Tesco!

Diego_Sideburns
Comments by Hull fans on the Hull Daily Mail site: While we look back we can never go forward. Deano did his job and we moved on. He is not in great goalscoring form at the moment so why should we think he would be any better in the prem? Trust Brownie on this one. paul (at work0, hull. Shame, it would be another amazing chapter in the fairytale, but TBH I doubt it would happen even if it was allowed. Steve B, Birmingham. Deano didn't chooose to go to Oldham he was pushed, he was given no option he repeatedly ask the club where he stood and they never gave him a straight answer! He left the club because he had to not because he wanted to!! If the club had come straight out and said he wasn't in their plans, he would have left months before he did avoiding the whole sorry saga that developed!! All the best Deano, would love to see you back at the club in a coaching capacity or even manager sometime in the future!! Mark, West Hull. Now hopefully we can put this story to bed. Deano choose to be a first team regular with Oldham in preference to a squad player with city. As PB said last night, Deano the player is in the past - Deano the strikers coach maybe is in the future.
j@cko
Its sad that he very rarely mentions his current team and thier plight for champinship football, but at the same time he is hull through and through and I cant fault him spouting off about em at every opportunity, they are in the prem and centre of attention, he is very proud of this fact...for me he can do whatever TV appearence, interview or blog he likes if he is producing the goods for us, same as any player can do whatever they like, get pissed 7 days a week as long as they perform sat aftanoon...we as football fans are fickle as :censored:, only second to WWE, if he has a blinder in the next 2 games he will be one of our own again, and no one will give 2 hoots about his blog...me included

kellys_discopants
i dont think hes done that much wrong, a bit more luck and he could have five gols. getting het up over internet based media whoring makes you a nerd. what has he actually said that we didnt know anyway? bunch of nerds. It`s not just what he has said, it`s the timing. He comes out and says this after one of our worst performances of the season, and just before arguably our most important weekend of the season. It`s clear he and Hughes arent really gelling, and these comments just really aren`t needed at a time like this. Yes, maybe we all knew he`d love a return to Hull, so theres no need for him to come out and publicly ram it down our throats then is there! BlueInAus
It is worth paying his wages for the rest of the season to make him sit in the non-existant reserves. If you don't have the drive to play for Oldham, then you shouldn't be at the club. I would say the same if it was Kaka, let alone some 39 year old has-been dreaming of 10 years ago. His comments are stupid (because it is not possible according to the FA) and hugely unprofessional. We should terminate his loan deal if there is any possible way. If Shez plays him after this, I am sure lots of us will be really really pissed off. I am sure the Oldham fans booing one of "their own" players is not the image AH wants to give off on such an important day.
daveoafc77
at a recent fans forum Phil Brown was asked if he'd consider taking Windass back and he completly shut the door on it. so it seems to be even more of a stupid thing to do to burn your bridges at your old club, then burn your bridges at your current club asking to be back playing under a manger that doesnt want you!
