I wouldn't be surprised to see 7/8 debutants come kick off next season. Anyones guesses at what the squad will be, will be some way off IMO. Nobody can predict what the opening day squad will be I agree. If you look at the 36 (!) players who have made appearanes, a significant number will have been high earners. Although that does not correlate to the number of appearances, strange that!!! By my back of fag packet calulations/guestimate Joe shipped out 15-20% of our wages. Hopefully some of that will go back into, and from what the TTA tell us it would seem to be the case. Player 1 M Allott 43.... Mid 2 R Hazell 42.... Mid 3 C Taylor 42.. I know a figure of this sort has been bandied about, and I did put in my opinion.but I am sceptical of it, and not sure who started it. I am sure he is on a high wage. Maybe it was a high bonus, or high per goal figure. All the same high payment I ams sure It was acknowledged plent yof other clubs were looking at him, and that he almost guarantee score goals.
