The truth is, as has been said before, the impression is Bugby comes to OWTB to find the groundless rumours and "links" with which to fill his empty column inches, and recycles tabloid rumours to fill a bit more. What he doesn't seem to do is use the fact that he is i) local, and ii) has reasonably unfettered access to the club to actually do some proper journalism and fill his pages with actual news stories that Latics fans might find worth reading. No doubt some will say the club simply fobs him off with "no comment"s, but is it any wonder when the precedent has been set? LeylandLatic Posted July 2, 2009 Share Posted July 2, 2009 Did anyone seriously think this was ever going to happen? Penney may be a fan of Moore, but no chance in hell he would ever come here. I don't think he is the sort of player who is going to fire you to promotion but he would be an adequate squad player and a different option. To be fair though we could have that 'different option' in CO'G if we give him a proper chance. We've burnt our bridges with the Moore family and to be honest I can't say i'm that bothered.
