rudemedic
That has made my day. Spanked by lowly Leyton. Can see them coming down again (which will give me a permanent smile)

thelaticsfan
the problem was they spent all their money on owen, he didnt want to play for them just wanted the money, did u notice he was injured all season long then suddenly was not injured a month before england where playing? wanted to get on england squad (dont know how you expect to be picked after playing no games all season when theres plenty of other english strikers around) soon as Cappelo says no, suprise suprise, injured again. that 100,000 per week could have been better spent on several decent injury-free players it also shows how important shay given was to newcastle, if it wasnt for him they would have been relegated long before end game of the season

There are plenty of others you could point the finger at for getting them where they are. They have a squad full of tossers.

Yeah, the financial problem was Ashley gambled on the banks and lost about £300M in a day. NB. And there's a fair bit of talk of administration up here. Frankly Mr Shankly
It's not getting better.... http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/t...ted/8172201.stm This article illustrates just what a poorly run club Newcastle are, and have been for some time. If someone makes you an offer, you respond; whether it be yay or nay. Massive club like. Looks very similar to the way Leeds went down the pan, so if natural progression should follow, expect a flop at the playoffs, before withering and letting the parachute money get swallowed up by the remaining long contracts before the ineviatable relegation looms. Tommy_Fent
Anyone know a bookies where I can bet on them to get relegated? I dunno but I looked at odds to win the Championship before and most have them as the favourites to win the League, so I'd do it ASAP
