Webmonkey
Has Mr. Groundsman taken any steps to increase the likelihood of it going ahead, Ste? There's not a great deal he can do, from speaking to him this morning. He's only been here a couple of weeks, but has been impressed by how well the BP pitch is draining. If the weather holds-off he doesn't anticipate any problems at all, but obviously weather being weather we can't say anything is for certain. BP1960
Good decision.... Aircraft are going over flying at strange angles the wind so strong. Thank goodness we have the protection of the stands. Expect about 300 balls to be used in the multi ball system as the balls boys retrieve clearances from Gregan and Hazell from the bottom of Broadway. BP1960
Only Broadway? With this wind more concern is Brill ........ Team talk today should include "Shoot when clear and let wind help." Brill will be fine, he doesn't come for crosses anyway so can't misjudge them in the wind
Alec1954
Been dry for arf and hour and the sun is trying to come out... still breezy but much like spring now compared to the gale lashing of a couple of hours ago.

LeylandLatic
Abu Dhabi GP a better prospect methinks. Probably right, games in strong winds are generally absolute bollocks.
singe
Yes ball boys will be stationed in the vicinity of the proposed new stadium I canno announce there will be an attempt to land the ball on the centre spot of the new stadium at half time. It was going to be Gregan, as hew can get some power into the ball, but he decided to take on the entire team in penalty box, in the practice session this morning.....
