  1. Apologies, This was brought to my attention shortly after the game (it also prevented fans from getting the usual SMS updates) and is beyond the control of the Football League clubs such as Latics. Our provider, Perform, have been investigating this over the weekend and I will hopefully have more information in the morning. First signs point to a problem with the PA and their stats collation/communication system, however I can't confirm if that was established as the root cause or not as I've yet to have the report from Perform. Cheers, Ste
  2. Dave Penney's comments on the decision online here.
  3. I like this idea. Wonder if anyone did this in the summer when we were looking for a manager... oh... wait...
  4. Again, folks, a massive apology for those who were not able to listen to Mike, Roy and Rob from BP yesterday. I am still waiting for Perform to come back to me with an RCA but rest assured I will be pressuring them to ensure this kind of outages does not reoccur. Cheers, Ste
  5. Glad to see some of you have worked out a workaround. The outage is beyond our control but is being investigated as a high priority by Perform. I can only apologise and ensure you that I am chasing them for a resolution as best I can (whilst writing the match report!). Cheers, Ste
  6. Also, just by being in the draw doesn't mean we would have been drawn against Manchester United (or Kettering for that matter). The FA allocate ball numbers based on League and then Alphabetically. L is close to O, but not enough to make us the same number in the draw. Ste
  7. Home fans can pay on the day in the Chaddy Road End.
  8. I'm afraid I don't know a vast amount about the TeamCard's workings - but I am sure if you contact Lois in the Shop or Alan in his office one or the other will be able to help you. Cheers, Ste
  9. You rang... I asked for fans to put their questions to DP earlier this month and had a rather poor response, considering how many on here have very vocal opinions. The article explaining what to do to submit a question is here: http://www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsU...1841094,00.html
  10. I'll ask them for a space bar too and post it out to you. lol
  11. This is a technical issue I wasn't aware of until last night, by which time I was unable to change it. As you say, the freeze frame is that of JJ and so I assumed that the video was correct. I am unable to say why the corruption has occurred, it was certainly JJ we interviewed at the time, as it was regarding his continued progress as he comes back from injury. With the internet at the club still unable to sustain video uploads and my personal internet broken until Monday I have to visit my parents to upload video's at the moment - as you can appreciate a very frustrating, time consuming and inconvenient system but the only one available. When I call at my parents tonight I will upload JJ's interview again so that fans can enjoy it, however due to the aforementioned problems I will only be able to upload after the game, somewhat dating the article. It's frustrating for myself and I appreciate it's frustrating for fans. I apologies for the inconvenience it may have caused you. Cheers, Ste Yes.
  12. Referee's had a look and is happy for the game to go ahead (as of 18:00). The rain here has eased considerably since I arrived. Please take care on the roads though, the M60 is horrific.
  13. Due to the demand for tickets from Leeds United the decision has been taken, in consultation with the police, to allocate the whole of the Leesfield Developments stand to Leeds. More Information HERE
  14. I've pointed that out to the team already, softies!
  15. Morning, The above is my fault. I did 4 articles all told on that angle and I got them all as “9am-12pm” (I just checked) apart from the “calling all Latics fans” article, where there’s no excuse other than a typo. No excuses to you J, or anyone else this impacted. Just sincere apologies. Entirely my fault. Cheers, Ste
  16. There's not a great deal he can do, from speaking to him this morning. He's only been here a couple of weeks, but has been impressed by how well the BP pitch is draining. If the weather holds-off he doesn't anticipate any problems at all, but obviously weather being weather we can't say anything is for certain.
  17. It's not actually that cold out so far... but it sure is windy! Update From Official Site
  18. Further to that, I have just been informed that the Small Section will only open once the remaining 200+ Hudd's tickets (or people paying-on-the-day) have been sold for the large section.
  19. That's a misunderstanding. It is open to HUDDERSFIELD FANS ONLY. I have amended the article to make this more apparent.
  20. Super-secret inside information from the halls of BP... yesterday I heard Mike Platt offer Simon one of the Ham Butties which was going to waste after the Youth Team's game got called off at short notice. The best comedy is accidental folks.
  21. Glad you like it guys, credit where it's due - aside from a couple of minor changes it's all Mike's words. He has lived in the USA for a long time and so he's got their lingo down to a T - not really for me to change that, is it?
  22. Drop me an email, include your username and the email you sent them last week, and I will chase this up for you when I am back in the office on Tuesday, or early tomorrow if you can get the email over to me quick enough. Cheers, Ste
