One will assume that the Latics number in the draw, had we beaten Leeds, would have been different to the Leeds number. Therefore Latics haven't just missed out on a £1m pay day at Old Trafford. We would have had the same number as the numbers were assigned before the games were played. And as we would have then been drawn away at Kettering, we'd have had the same number as it wouldn't have changed the alphabetical order.
