I wonder what the possibilities are of Latics arranging a friendly for Saturday away from home against a club with no game and not affected by the weather conditions ?

if theres no game next week they should play Tenerife away, no snow, warm conditions for the players to train, a nice break.

We've been told that while trainng on such a surface, it has not been good for our older players. At least next week they should be able to find some grass on which to train in the build-up to the Tranmere game.
