That's assuming said striker has looked into the loanee to injury ratio at B.P.

More than likely he decided that life 'Up North' is not suited to one as cosseted as he is.

We are. Why would their club pay for them to be injured on loan with us?

would have thought there was clauses or something to say if they are injured we don't pay them

or send them back.

Especially if some of them have not been playing regular for their own teams??

Or is that too much to hope for !!!!!

Why would a club agree to pay for an injured player out on loan? They're not exactly in the shop window (unless the physio's room is in a supermarket).

We could send them back, but then when they're fit again I doubt we could re-loan them - it would be taking the mickey a bit. "He's injured, we don't want to pay his wages. Can you give me a bell when he's fit again and then we might take him back?"

Yes good business sense to have a clause in ,

Remember loans work both ways , they have a player not doing much on the bench or in the reserves and costing them wages .Clubs don't loan you a player as a favour they do it for there own gain.

Sending them out on loan gives them match practise and gets them fit, BUT

if they can't do that then why pay them !!!
