Aljofree Whittaker Smalley Parker Lee Stephens Black Brooke Ollerenshaw Dawson Rowney McKerr Steer Ojapah along with 2nd year trainees Millar Bembo-Leta McGrath Eaves Who do we keep? Who do we get rid of? Been informed that Stephens' contract runs out next summer so he should be here next season regardless. If they turn them down, then no-one will really care. It all depends on who is managing us. And what division we are in. I would keep Whittaker, Smalley, Lee, Stephens & Brooke. I'm not sure about Black, he was supposed to be a bright talent from the youth side, England youth honours? That would be Marc Tierney who is more than proving he can cut it at this level! Still get rid of Black though... as has been said in the other thread, with Holdsworth hopefully being fit we simply cant keep all the full-backs we have. One from Lee, Black and Lomax for me. I think i've been saying Lee for CM to solve our lack of link play between midfield and attack for the entire time he's been here. Reputation alone gives bembo leta and McGrath more time. BL was being chased by a number of big clubs a couple of years ago if I remember correctly so he must have something and he's done well in the ressies hasn't he? Brooke is pretty deadly when he gets a chance but he just lacks strength, in a team creating chances though he may not have to be hustling with defeneders and feeding off scraps like he does when he gets a rare appearance at the moment. Smalley - get rid. has talent but not consistant enough Parker - already gone Lee - 12 month if he turns it down then let him go Stephens - if he does have 1 year left make it 3 or 4 Black - if we can't get anyone better bring back as cover Brooke - if they still have high hopes for him give him 12 months if not release don't mess the lad around putting him on the bench everygame and then don't use him Ollerenshaw - ? Dawson -? Rowney -? McKerr -? Steer -? Ojapah -? give all the below 12 months in the 1st team then decide. I'd give him another season or so but that would be the end of it for him unless he can prove himself. Smalley has a big year ahead of him, playing for his contract too. As for the kids, I haven't seen anywhere near enough of them but I would hope that some of them would earn a contract or at least a chance for next year. He's average at chasing and winning the ball and terrible at everything that requires any technique. Strange really cos I always thought he looked ok for Hudders. When he pulled away from that challenge the other night against brentford and the whole main stand rose as one to berate him ( justifiably) told me all i needed to know about him!
