PlayItLivo
The lad's out of contract at the end of the season, no? The club should give him a 3 year extension. And they need to get it arranged before he starts playing well and we're forced to sell him in January for a small fee, or we lose him at the end of the season to a small tribunal fee (of which some would go to Bury). At least if we tie him down on a contract we can get a decent amount for ourselves. Edited August 2, 2010 by PlayItLivo
wardlelatic
Lets just hope our curse doesn't effect this season after last season's sponsorship of Rob Purdie.. -- I have thought of that, I have inserted a clause into the deal... If he has two bad games we change to Paul Bulter NB: with the possibiility of Purdie leaving, Stephens was sponsored ! We would have liked to continue our support the RB otherwise !!! If fans would like to join forces a sponsor a player let me know ! If 4 fans chipped in the cost wouldnt be that expensive !!! PLAYER / KIT SPONSORSHIP 2010 / 2011 SEASON New for the 2010 / 2011 season, sponsor your chosen player and his playing kit for the full season. Player sponsorship is a great way to demonstrate your support for your club and your favourite player. Whether as an individual fan, a local sports club or a local/ national business. All revenue generated from this will go straight back to the future development of Oldham Athletic. Either the player’s home or away kits are available and will include a host of great benefits: • Your name/company name or logo as the “official sponsor” by your chosen player in every home matchday programme for the entire season • Your name/company name or logo to be shown on our official website • Presentation of a framed shirt autographed by your sponsored player at the end of the season • A personal thank you letter and an autographed photograph of your sponsored player • Tickets for 4 people to attend the clubs official awards end of season dinner • Your name/company name announced on the PA everytime your player scores a goal or is substituted. Price - £595 + VAT either home or away

leeslover
The OWTB Kiss of Death. From the word go. Taylor turned up at the awards night when he was the player having had a chronic dose of the :censored:s, and found Jacko sitting beside him after an all day bender. And people still ask where it went wrong for him?

How do you know that there is not an offer ont he table which Dale is considering, or he has told Oldham flat that he is leaving when his contract expires. I know Gosling left Everton due to a formal offer not being given,. but no need to assume we would do the same......
