astottie
Hello Moto Was being discussed yesterday looks like its happening ! and there are 2 triallists in tonights squad at Rhyll...... If we did get these 2 then I would suggest they are exactly the type of players we should be getting on loan. Like :censored: and Blackman in fact. Lets hope more :censored: than Blackman.. Bristolatic
Anyone think these two loans are dependent on Sunderland getting Eaves? Not necessarily Sunderland, but it opens the way for someone to make an offer too good to refuse. With Feeney, Tounkara, Brooke (when fit again) plus Bembo-Leta to develop, Jarrett can play up front as back-up and even Smalley in the wings, we may not miss Big Tom too much. Bristolatic
And Dickov.. Lewi upfront aswell.. Dean kelly.. That crompton guy who came on against PNE.. Exactly. We're pretty well blessed in the striker department, especially if Tounkara turns up. Bit different to last season, eh? I think The Right Honourable Sir David Twopence thought a striker was a bloke who stood on a picket line.
MaskedOwl
from BBC message board: Sunderland's second-string were in pre-season action as Gateshead FC visited the Academy of Light today. Goals from Jordan Cook, David Healy and Oumare Tounkara sealed the win for the Lads and Reserves boss Keith Bertschin was pleased with the run-out. Bertschin added: "Oumare Tounkara was a real handful, he's been doing ok and he's raising his standards, he took the goal very well and he seems to be improving all the time."
