BP1960
Dickov should arrange a friendly with Fleetwood just to keep the fitness levels up, Fleetwoods pitch is fine and they also have no game due their game at Blyth being postponed. It would be a chance for Gregan and Worthington to proove their worth n/t Edited December 11, 2010 by BP1960
JoeLatics
Results seeming to go our way so far, we'll go 4th if we win the game in hand! (3rd if Charlton lose theirs as well)
opinions4u
I think the most important thing for Latics fans to do today is to budget carefully. Home games coming up: 26th Dec: Carlisle 3rd Jan: Rochdale 8th Jan: Swindon (tbc) 11th Jan Southampton 4 home games in 16 days. Stick today's £20 in an envelope and hide it from the wife before she spends it!

Players going to very tired after the christmas/new year fixtures, if swindon is on 8th january, then we have 6 games in 17 days..

slystallone
they'll just train less, won't they? I think the squad is now big enough; and has sufficient quality to cope with this “pile up”. With the way PD sets us up to play; its the wide midfield players who are likely to be putting in the biggest shifts; but We’ve enough options in the wide positions to mean a player; say Aidy White could play Vs Carlisle, Colchester, Hartlepool & Dale – then be rested for the Southampton game if he’s dead in the water; with someone a la Lewis Alice coming into the side...... We’ve Evina / White / Morais / Lewis / Taylor / Jones who can all play out wide.......its healthier than its been in a good while; squad depth wise.
