pinevillawill
Right, finally nailed that royal blue on the head so last three for a while. I think these are my nicest designs yet. 1) Royal blue home shirt with tangerine pinstripes, white trimmings and collar. 2) Tangerine away shirt with white pinstripes, white trimmings and collar. 3) Red and white retro-inspired third jersey, white trimmings and collar. All three created with current Nike templates. JD Sports main sponsor, Carbrini side sponsor (effectively the same company). Criticism welcome. Macca
Think the Tangerine kit would look better if the white was a dark blue instead. I doubt Nike would allow Carbrini on their shirts, get rid of the collars! Very nice effort though.

shefflatic
yep i'd have the blue and the orange/blue as our two kits, very classy yet original!! get these to AH pronto!
Macca
Blue added, Carbrini gone, collar (regrettably) gone!! Needs to be a darker blue and the narrow stripes dark blue as well, then you've got an amazing away kit

LaticsLee
I have emailed Alan Hardy with these kit designs and this was his reply... Thanks Lee I think the first two could be any teams shirt if it did not have the latics badge on it, I think we need something more distinctive that is then easily recognisable as a Latics kit. The third one does meet those requirements though as it is original Regards Alan Alan Hardy so pete you was right ! haha

I have always wanted to be able walk in London/ Kent and people want toknow my kit rather than glance and think I am a Chelsea fan.

Zorrro
Yeah, cos if you walked round London in the third kit you DEFINITELY wouldn't get mistaken for an Arsenal fan PS. Alan, we currently share a kit design with about five other clubs. Bit of a strange comment to make.

Zorrro
Do we, who else has a simliar kit to us ? I was exaggerating. I can think of two: Rochdale and Bournemouth.
LaticsLee
I was exaggerating. I can think of two: Rochdale and Bournemouth. id say them two a exact same as each other to be honest, both have lines down the shirt we dont Edited February 15, 2011 by LaticsLee
LaticsPete
Bournemouth? Not likely to be mistaken though are we as they're in completely different colours which does mitigate against design styles somwhat.

I suggest we play in a nice cerise, or puce, or mauve.

Is the point that you made a massively over exaggerated comparison and then you've decided to use colours most blokes don't even know exist to demonstrate it ;-) Agreed to some extent though. We've hardly been distinctive for years. Is the problem with the design that it's Nike? They're never going to make our kits surely (unless I've mised something?) No, wont do us but they would do stockport, bradford, hereford etc...
