Sam779
It's as good a reason as any mate. Some of our fans have delusions of grandeur, sadly it has been a long old slog since 'the good ol'd days'. My opinion is that we're only as good as our current league position. The whole massive club thing is a bit of an in-joke between us and the pigs at present. I suppose we're still big in respect of stature and fan base. Sam779
Your drainage better be good with the weather forecast ahead. Don't think anyone actually answered if you have a cover for the pitch?
opinions4u
Fairly sure they've been known to cover the pitch. What do you think of Megson? Never one to be popular with fans at the club he manages. Has he changed his image there?
Sam779
He's a bit of a fan's favourite at the moment. He often sings along to our songs with the fans whilst stood at the side of the pitch; famously got in a spot of bother at Pigs away for singing "At the lane, at the lane, where they're all f***ing w*****s at the lane" whilst stood outside the dugout. His tactics seem to be effective and he's built a team of hard workers who have an appetite for victory. Like all fans I'll like Megson until the results go against, then I'll be fickle and call for his head no doubt. Like I say though, he's one of us and in Megson we trust...for now. RobOAFC
Your drainage better be good with the weather forecast ahead. Don't think anyone actually answered if you have a cover for the pitch? Our drainage is very good. And yes we do have a cover for our pitch thats protects it down to -4 I think. But if also needed, we have borrowed some from City in recent seasons. opinions4u
The drainage at Boundary Park is a tad better than at Hillsbrough. http://uk.images.search.yahoo.com/images/view;_ylt=A0PDodrh0d9OnzIAeZpNBQx.;_ylu=X3oDMTBlMTQ4cGxyBHNlYwNzcgRzbGsDaW1n?back=http%3A%2F%2Fuk.images.search.yahoo.com%2Fsearch%2Fimages%3Fp%3Dhillsbrough%2Bflooded%26fr2%3Dpiv-web%26b%3D1%26tab%3Dorganic&w=468&h=312&imgurl=img.dailymail.co.uk%2Fi%2Fpix%2F2007%2F06_02%2FShefWedsFlood_468x312.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dailymail.co.uk%2Fsport%2Ffootball%2Farticle-464478%2FBring-sub-Sheffield-Wednesdays-pitch-submerged-flood-water.html&size=44.9+KB&name=Hillsborough+flooded&p=hillsbrough+flooded&oid=818275cd63ea712976d265cd694b67c8&fr2=piv-web&fr=&rw=hillsborough+flooded&tt=Hillsborough+flooded&b=0∋=28&no=0&tab=organic&ts=&sigr=13ovoe1a6&sigb=131no2f5l&sigi=11u8gl512&.crumb=DFrUb8.4AxS

The drainage is superb Sam, it's the overnight frost forecast at -2 which is a worry.
futchers briefs
The 'drool' from the Owdham faithful, contemplating a possible Wembley and Anfield trip in the next few months, dripping down Sheepfoot Lane, will be enough to piss the Boundary Park turf wet through.
