Lookers_Carl
As for BP, I'd just love to know when if ... FTFY
Dave_Og
you only have to look to Mk Fake to see that new stadiums don't mean more fans! Depends what youare comparing it to. They certainly have more fans than MK City did and I suspect their crowds are at least as many as Wimbledon used to get
beag_teeets
The RRE needs a fair bit of work doing to it, there are several holes in the roof that leak very badly when it rains, the catering facilities are pretty poor for the size of even the meagre crowds we get. shambles
Hi - Spireite in peace. Love reading the opinions of other fans re the b2net and i hope you enjoyed your visit. By and large your opinions expressed on this thread reflect those we've picked up on to date - some like it, some don't. Personally speaking, and whilst it's not Saltergate, i love the place. Obviously last season's success on the pitch meant that we already have some great memories shaped in our new ground and the atmosphere has been better than in any of the last few seasons at the old ground. Most importantly it definitely now has become 'home'. Not sure how much you'll have to spend on your new place, but £13m is the figure spent on our gaff, which doesn't include land purchase as we managed to get that for nothing as we had the Council in tune with the club's desire to find a new site. A more original and less uniform design would have been my preference, but if we couldn't afford that, it was never going to happen and i'm pleased the club have been realistic in their ambitions. I think we ended up with something which was a good enough size for us, in a great location (near pubs! ), with about as good a design as we could have got for the money we had. Very few Spireites are disappointed with what we have ended up with. Seriously hope you can get your ground issues sorted. Having been to Boundary Park many times i know it has seen better days but hopefully matters will improve soon. I admit i'm not familiar with the problems you are facing, other than you have had some sites in mind away from BP which have fallen through, but if it's of any consolation our ground move was first mooted around 1990, and we had more false starts than i care to remember, at least one of which actually worked in our favour. Good things come to those who wait! Edited January 4, 2012 by shambles

Good things come to those who wait! Oh we're waiting alright, don't worry there....!!!! Good post. I'll be visiting the b2net for the 1st time for the JPT game; so looking forward to seeing it with my own eyes. I think we have to be realistic with any re-development of BP. Unfortunately; the whole ground is basically shagged; even the newest stand as Beegs points out leaks & isn't the best all told. We need x4 new stands, and that is going to cost ££££££££'s; which we don't have. All the while, We still wait.....
