oafc1955
Corney admitted to almost walking away until the impact made by the arrival of Dickov last season changed his mind. I think there is now a real possibility that he could walk at the end of this season.....Most of the players we have are out of contract and there have been no offers made as yet. If he did we would have to cut our cloth accordingly and probably be relegated at the end of next season. Will he stay or will he go???? GlossopLatic
I wouldn't take this latest outburst as a sign Corney is leaving he has come out with stuff like this before which at the end of the day is based on frustration that Oldham Athletic aren't in the position he wants them to be in. RoytonLatics
This is true, but the bloke must be at the end of his tether with the club

Stevie_J
Corney's not going anywhere - not until the other two give up on the money they're hoping to get back out of Latics.
al_bro
Hope he stays. Who else would be willing to buy him out? Look what's happened at other clubs who thought they were being taken over by rich investors. Notts County were extremely lucky to have a wealthy chap willing to take over the mess left by the Arabs. QPR have also been lucky to have another rich investor, after seeing the documentary the other week. Portsmouth have been dropped in time and time again. There are many examples of broken promises.
