Jack Wight
Now that derbyshires loan spell has come to an end, and not looking like he could make a return, who do you think his replacement will be?
BP1960
On the managers past form it will be Simpson.
Jack Wight
On the managers past form it will be Simpson. That's what I was thinking, hopefully he can make more of an inpact in the second half of the season
byrnes boots
I would like us to try taylor myself but don't think he will
Jack Wight
I would like us to try taylor myself but don't think he will Well at least he should be on the bench more which could in turn lead him in to making more first XI appearances. At the end of the day he's quite young and not very experienced, so there's no rush to put him in the first team, it would put a lot of pressure on him and hinder his overall performance Edited December 15, 2012 by Jack Wight

opinions4u
Our service to Derbyshire has been :censored:e. God help the poor sod who gets his place next week.
NewBlue
Clarke I hope. Lowe scored today. Not sure if he's past it or not but worth a go? I trust Dickov though, he's brought in some really good strikers in his time here so I expect him to bring in a sufficient replacement. sykelatic1
If they play like today does it matter? Half of the games ive seen derbyshire play his talent and strengths have been consistantly wasted. Fkin long ball :censored:e or isolated with 2 or 3 defenders or just no support or service. The second half vs doncaster at home where we played TO his strengths showed what we will miss but as i said - play like today and the best striker in the world would struggle. the_mighty_bosh
If we're going long ball to Derbyshire (which, whether it is the fault of players or management, is a ridiculous thing to do) then we should play Smith next week. If the team are going to play direct then we should at least give them a blatantly obvious target to aim for. If the team won't play to Derbyshire's strengths then I certainly can't see them playing to Simpson's, which wlll do neither the club or player any favours. Hands on
Will we play an inform Taylor or an out of form Simpson? Simpson will get the vote! Smith will just sit out the game until we go behind.
NewBlue
Izale McLeod is due to be released by Pompey in January. Possible target considering Leon Clarke has gone to Coventry and Ryan Lowe looks to be getting gametime and goals at MK Dons?
