oafc joe
Scored 7 in 15 at Bristol Rovers, bring him in on loan?

keep_the_faith
Didnt Bolton say he wont be leaving on loan at all before he eventually went rovers, and thats when they were in the prem. If hes ever gonna make it with wanderers, nows his time I think he may be given a chance now
Schlieb
Prefer him to Derbyshire. Really? Derbs had real class. Eaves bagging 7 in L2 is nothing special?
LeylandLatic
We're getting Scott Vernon I think.

The Internet isn't very good at showing the look of incredulity on my face as I typed that. If we can attract the likes of Baxter, Derbyshire and Wabara then the name of Tom Eaves is not worth the slightest consideration.

Frankly Mr Shankly
Not the solution... No? Loan Smith out to some :censored:-kicking Conference side and bring in Eaves. A big man who actually knows where the goal is.

Eaves will be on 10 times the money Smith is.

Ackey
Around 5 grand a week?! Assuming smith is on about 500 a week.... I'd say Smith is on £500 a week tops given where he came from and the length of the deal. Equally Eaves joined Blackburn when they were (at least in their own minds) flush with cash and so I'd expect him to be on upwards of £4k a week (it's madness, I know). Given he's been on loan to bottom of the 4th Division Bristol City (), I hardly expect it'd be out of the question us getting him on loan. AndyGortonsMatches
Wikipedia suggests Scott Spencer is now prolific at Conference level, worth a scout?
