oafc1955
Don't know if it's been mentioned before but I can see Paul Murray being named player coach and No.2 to Dickov within the next couple of weeks.
JoshOWTB
Why would they not announce that when he signed? Can't see the assistant manager being a player. Plus wouldnt that be a bit awkward if he's playing with Furman whos the captain, whos in charge - captain or the assistant manager?
pinevillawill
Corney's not gonna employ an assistant while Dickov's job's on the line.
slider1
Corney's not gonna employ an assistant while Dickov's job's on the line. This! I any new manager would want to bring in his own staff, while Dickov's job is in the balance nothing will happen

I hope not. If Dickov is going to stay he needs an experienced voice alongside him. Muzza isnt that!

Furman being Captain is not such a problem ......take it off him, he's not exactly been pivotal in inspiring his team mates so far has he! palmer1
No Chance PD needs to win 3/4 out of 5 maybe more to get any chance of a new assistant New manager, which may or may not be just waiting in the wings with his own staff just waiting for a start date PD still has the job so its up to him what happens now

No mention of Tony Philliskirk who has guided him through two of his greatest victories. so I suspect that Dickov/Philliskirk is not a viable partnership going forward. lee Croft had the good grace to mention TP when asked a similar question on Five Live. Increasingly to me PD iS more interested in the Robbie Savage and Man City band wagon now that we have proved not to be the stepping stone that he had hoped for.
