razza699
Dayton is 5 foot 7 and less than 10 stone. With Millar, Wesolowski, brown and him we only need another 3 dwarves? So his first 2 signing have played just 5 English professional games between them and are both left sided wide men Jury out on this manager big time! :laught30: :laught30:
slystallone
Yeovil apart from the keeper and the lad at the back were not the biggest, Brentford are a team of big bastards, who lost to Yeovil three times this season. Height in the right paces, speed and skill elsewhere = no :censored:er can get near you….simples….. LJ & Marcus Stewart apart (and he was hardly small) - his Dad's Bristol City were massive. As LJ is keen to use that model of team as his framework to build around, I think we should see a couple of "units" arriving sooner rather than later. But yeah - he's also mentioned pace as being crucial many times already, and his 2 signings so far have that in spades. Promising so far...... singe
Dayton is 5 foot 7 and less than 10 stone. With Millar, Wesolowski, brown and him we only need another 3 dwarves? Its far too early to judge if they are crap, just as it is far to early to judge if they are worldies. And Jonson Clarke-Harris has played for Bury 12 times, Bury being in the English League last time I looked. So apart from getting both players height wrong, one of their positons wrong, one of their appearances wrong, and the fact Millar, Weso, Brown, Dayton will hardly be playing together very often there's not much to disagree with I suppose. BlueInAus
Quick English wingers, who comes to mind? Aaron Lennon, Theo Walcott.... Apart from CB and GK (although we have had some shorter keepers), I don't think height is necessarily an advantage at all.
real
Wabarra is bigger and quicker and no matter how many games he plays brown will not develop in those areas......Furman, wes, Murray, brown and croft....all we are short of is Snow White Dayton is 5 foot 7 and less than 10 stone. With Millar, Wesolowski, brown and him we only need another 3 dwarves? So his first 2 signing have played just 5 English professional games between them and are both left sided wide men Jury out on this manager big time! Jeez, did your girlfriend run off with a midget? Let's hope we don't sign a certain Argie who is 5'5" and has not a single English league game to his name. And; by the way: you've made a number of grammatical misteaks. Bertie_Dugger
Whatever happened to Johnnie Burdess ? If we are building a team of little guys then he would have fitted in really well.

Schlieb
Whatever the pronoun " it " refers to which in this sentence you could argue grammatically is the Kilmanock left winger. However that would be incorrect since the winger is male and so " him" would be the correct pronoun . Consequently it is legitimate to expect that the reader could interpret " it" as the place Kilmanock. Sloppy use of subordinate clauses and relative pronouns I agree. Mea culpa....but when in Rome... What I find brilliant about this post is it more than likely took you about 5-10 mins trying to make yourself sound more intelligent than you actually are, and to re read through to make sure you hadn't made any typos! When in fact all it's done is made you look an even bigger knob than your OP did. Classic.
