Matty4oafc
I have a few issues I want to get people opinion on to see if its just me or other people don't like what is happening. Firstly I was in the shop today and I noticed some of the new home tops had a horrible new sponsor on the back, I don't want that so I went to speak to the girl at the counter and she told me all of the home kits will have this new sponsor on the back, it looks ridicules and Latics are going to lose money as people are going to do what I did today and not buy a top from the official shop and just go to JD instead where the tips don't have the sponsor on the back The sponsor on the back of the shirts is abit like the one the players had on there kits last session only this year all tops are having it on! Does anybody else think this is wrong a specially when people have already bought the top without it on.
Twisbrogan
It's part of the sponsorship deal arrangement that their name goes on the replica shirt.
opinions4u
In the end the sponsorship is probably worth more to the club than the kit sales. Like it or not I think we have to live with it.
Matty4oafc
I just don't think it's good business on the clubs part if the tops in the official shop hav this new sponsor one and other tops in shops like JD don't it should be consistent. I think it's good that the club are getting mount out of the deal but to but a top for 40 pound and effectively be a billboard for this company is wrong
Omar Don't Scare
It's not a big deal really. Besides buying it elsewhere without it and the club are likely getting the same cut. Embrace it its really not an issue

Matty4oafc
I just don't like the idea of having a sponsor on the replica kits and all the kits that hav been sold so far without it on, it will look stupid that is all
AndyGortonsMatches
I just don't like the idea of having a sponsor on the replica kits and all the kits that hav been sold so far without it on, it will look stupid that is all The new sponsor logo was bad as it was without more clutter on the back.... If its OTT it'll just affect sales. Still, could be worse....
Midsblue
Talking of shirts; is there a new away shirt and if so, when is it released? Debating over which to buy ahead of holidays starting August 8th

c.hill12
Who is the sponsor on the back?A solicitor's firm i think. My shirt doesnt have it on as i bought from the 1st batch. I don't really see the issue. As for 'costing the club money' it is a five figure sponsorship deal, how many shirts would need to go unsold for it to cost the club money? real
Assuming the club clears £15 per shirt and that the sponsor deal is £10,000; 700 shirt sales dropped would mean a loss on the deal.

disjointed
How many do you reckon we sell? 1500? Depends on the st sales I suppose, at £20 with a st voucher it is not a bad deal, having said that I have a st and I wont be getting a shirt. oldhamoafc
The only problem I have with the club shop is the lack if products to choose from. No beach towels, no bedroom products, not much baby stuff and not many lines of certain products or different styles.
Fervid
I agree the shop has been going down hill over the years, you can get the new training wear online on JD sports yet the club shop has nowt.
