Lags Posted July 7, 2013 Share Posted July 7, 2013 Sorry I am late coming back to you. Take your point Lags but orginally it was going to be a dinner at £30-35. We wanted to try and be a little more up market than the £7 Playhouse night and thought a good compromise was a decent buffet and entertainment at the £15 tag. I appreciate it aint easy for many and if it does not prove to be succcessful we will have to go back to the Playhouse type of function. Hope you can still make it though all of you. Diego_Sideburns Posted July 8, 2013 Share Posted July 8, 2013 Mrs Sideburns and I don't normally go to this sort of event, as we're a bit shy about rubbing shoulders with Club officials and players. However, we're so glad about the apparent breath of fresh air surrounding Latics at the moment, that we've booked our tickets. Also, instead of driving back home afterwards, we're staying the night so I can enjoy a few pints. Regarding the price, I think £15 (£10 concessions) for a good buffet and a "Motown Group" is not bad. I'm looking forward to Latics-related Motown songs like: I Heard It Through The Grapevine What's Goin' On?
