rvlatic
It used to always be Man City until they went to the next level - whinging fans on every phone- in now that baton has been passed to bolton and mr fence-sitter himself alan gowling! razza699
How is this related to us? The fact we will barely get any coverage yet again as their tongues will be so far up Boltons bottoms to report on us.
Tommy_Fent
I used to listen to it all the time, the thing about the phone-ins is that they keep saying that the reason why it's all about City/Bolton is that hardly any Latics fans ring up
oafcprozac
Always been the same, we used to get ok coverage then they cut their budget for the lower league clubs, at one stage they weren't going to cover us at all away from home but after an outcry they now cover most of our games. We do occasionally get a commentary game such as Swindon last season but I agree they're obsessed with Bolton and City. Piccadilly was always the United station but thanks Pykey and Tommy Doc in the late 80s and early 90s we received some great coverage - it helped United were :censored: between 85-90, and BP was a goal fest... opinions4u
Tommy Docherty speaks to Mrs o4u occasionally. He has very fond memories of reporting from Boundary Park. Gets a few free cruises these days in return for a couple of one hour "talks" about his career and football
