Blu-Blood
Is that really all we had there today? There looked to be much more than that.
4froale
We'd sold 600 tickets as of yesterday dinner and I'm pretty sure more than 133 paid on the gate, I would of said there was at least 1000
SavageTheBeast
Just fiddling the attendance. Nowhere near 4800 of them in the ground
vendman
Someone told us they had spoke to a copper who told him there were 1300 away fans. Seems more likely
opinions4u
If that section holds 2,000 then 733 seems about right.
sjk2008
It looked an awful lot more than
c.hill12
There were just short of 700 sold on friday and the queue for the ticket office was pretty long at 2.55. Way more than 733 there imo. The 1300 seems more accurate.
deyres42
There was more than that in The Griffin pre match.
pukka
Was speaking to a copper as we left, I asked him. He said "we estimated 800 - 850 pre match and that was about right"
opinions4u
The section nearest the Carlisle fans was empty. Most of the area that extended behind the goal-line was empty. Even in the more populated sections there were empty seats. I think we're kidding ourselves if we think there were over 1,000 in the ground. Just fiddling the attendance. Nowhere near 4800 of them in the ground My instinct was similar. But the terrace under the main stand filled up quite sharply just before kick-off. It's quite difficult to judge standing areas. keep_the_faith
Minus 2 who bought tickets from oafc rejected entry for being "too drunk"
rudemedic
That stand is 6000 capacity, it has 7 big sections (one of which may be slightly larger than the others), and 2 small sections on the ends. Judging by the picture that I've seen on twitter 733 is about right.
yarddog73
what does it matter rather have an away day with a few hundred up for it than an home game where half the crowd might as well be cardboard cutouts.
Tommy_Fent
this is a pic a Carlisle fan posted on Twitter, on reflection I'd have said slightly more than 733 myself but no by too much Edited April 27, 2014 by Tommy_Fent

mikejh45
Bit of a tangent but on Player, the Carlisle commentary went on for a good 30 mins. after the end of the match and their commentators highly praised the Latics faithful on several occasions.
