Nervous_Tic
Forget the game digestion for a bit, today got me thinking about games we've really struggled in despite a man advantage. I can recall many times we've let teams still get at least a point even though there were more of us than them. Heck, even Plymouth had 9 men the other year yet still made a contest of it. In the times I've been watching us I can't remember us ever going a man down then proceeding to score the winner. Surely we managed this once upon a time?? Lee Sinnott
Stoke 1999 stands out. Stuart Thom got walked early doors, but we still won...
Chaddy_Ender
Remember being out thought by a 9 men Sheff Utd team at BP years ago, cant remember if we won the game or not but they give it a real good go.
palmer1
Managed it a few times under Dowie. Swindon away. Think that may have been Baudet Edited December 27, 2014 by palmer1
AndyGortonsMatches
Remember being out thought by a 9 men Sheff Utd team at BP years ago, cant remember if we won the game or not but they give it a real good go. We won 2-1, but they gave us the runaround for the entire second half with 9 men and even with 8 men for the final 5 minutes when an injured player went off. singe
Mores the point, how often have the oppo gone down to 10 and we've failed to capitalise.
rosa
Sheffield United away, 2012. They were 2-0 up at HT. Lowton got sent off for them at 2-1. This is how it finished. Thanks for giving me an excuse to post it.

Tommy_Fent
Managed it a few times under Dowie. Swindon away. Think that may have been Baudet I think that season we had the worst disciplinary record in the league, but we also edges a hell of a lot of scrappy games. These are the sort of sides who win promotion from this league, ones who will bully the opposition

Nervous_Tic
Managed it a few times under Dowie. Swindon away. Think that may have been Baudet We were already winning though when Baudet got sent off. Maybe I could have been more explicit - were there any during that season (or since) where we went down to 10 *before* scoring the winner? Lee's first reply is a good example. Tommy_Fent
Mansfield when Eyresey got sent off and Fitz bagged a last minute winner from a penalty
Nervous_Tic
They were down to 10 men too by that point
Frankly Mr Shankly
Colchester that season away. Clint Hill got sent off and we won 1-0. Didn't someone get sent off at Tranmere too when we won 2-1 on New Years Day?

Colchester also were a man light after the same incident, so it was 10 v 10 when we scored
