JoeP
Well done but very disappointed with turn out of 236 when it's only 40 odd miles down the M/way even on a cold Tuesday night a bit poor. Would appear that a lot have given up after Saturday !!!! It was a 40 odd mile, Tuesday night trip to Burslem, to a ground we have an appalling record at following three woeful performances - under the cirumstances I think 236 was pretty decent. deyres42
If it wasn't for the OASIS crew we would be mocked for some of our followings...
we hate man,u and city to
Not sure if anyone else has mentioned this, but Jones's goal was first they'd conceded in around 350 minutes. Brilliant win, against an in form side.
rudemedic
PS - Mention to the fans singing again who gave it their all for the full 90 min . Well done but very disappointed with turn out of 236 when it's only 40 odd miles down the M/way even on a cold Tuesday night a bit poor. Would appear that a lot have given up after Saturday !!!! Some of us were in work. Port vale is that much of a ball-ache to get to, especially in rush hour, that lots who would go to more local games, although last night I'd have been struggling to get to a home game in time for KO, didn't bother. That's not giving up, that's having other things to do from about 5pm on a Tuesday night.
longtimeblue
If it wasn't for the OASIS crew we would be mocked for some of our followings... All clubs have followings in other areas of the country. Remember talking to a load of North West based Orient fans in a pub in Manchester before we played them a few years ago. No different to any other club.
