Guest Stanley30 Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Can someone remeber why we let this guy go? Exactly what we need right now. Surely we can get him back next to wilson! with Dummigan and mills next to then, you watch our defence improve 10 fold! SIGN HIM UP
Bristolatic Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 He refused a new contract offer. IIRC it was on reduced terms but I may have that bit wrong.
welshgaz Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 (edited) He's is the kind of player we need but he was past it at the end. He kept us up virtually by himself when we came in. His organisation skills at the back were brilliant. Edited November 27, 2015 by welshgaz
pinevillawill Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Great player in his brief spell for us but not the solution to our current defensive woes. He's at the end of an injury-prone career and is currently Danny Hall's central defensive partner for a team who are 18th in the conference.

yarddog73 Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 As were Lee Johnsons..........until Holden had his ear FTFY
the_mighty_bosh Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I was a fan of Lockwood and what he brought to the team, but I think we couldn't have got anymore out of him and parted with him at the right time. The player who I think we missed a trick with was Gerrard.
Lee Sinnott Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 Just captained me to promotion on Football Manager...
Flemboy Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 I agree about Gerrard but that is water under the bridge. We seem to have lots of poor/ average players when we should have quality rather than quantity .
