Stagger Lee
Thought this was an article on the Lancaster club land
latics22
Burnley had the right idea. Bring in a few better players if u go down, you go down. No massive debts or big salaries, add a few more quality championship players. Go up again and slowly introduce better players. Throwing everything at it, you come down in dire straits. robboman
Just goes against the mindset of getting to the premiership makes any club financially stable at least

Agree with that. If you go down you should do with enough cash and the squad to have a very good chance to come straight back. A lot of teams get shot of the players who got them there and give expensive ones who are no better and are unsuited to try and get them promoted again

Thought if you got promoted it was money for nothing or is that so far away from the truth?

I think the point being made was that you need to think long term and might find yourselves back at square one. In that case sometimes it’s better to keep hold of the brothers in arms who took the walk of life to get you promoted in the first place. The players will get 3/4 of what the club earns.
