Great stuff, it's a step in right direction I've got nothing against people having a flutter (I do the odd accy myself) but the way it is pushed particularly around televised sporting events makes me really uneasy -

You're entitled to your opinion and all but this is absolute nonsense. If anything there isn't enough done to prevent gambling addiction, you can't watch any sporting event without 3 or 4 adverts for betting sites with live odds being screamed at you every advert break, and it feels like half the clubs in the football league have a betting sponsorship. -

I'm a fan of both of them, I think they're both more than capable at this level. Keeper is the least of our worries, don't understand why people think we need to strengthen there. -

There was a really good post from a Tranmere fan on here just after Brabin joined about how good he is at recruiting players and how big a part of their success under Mellon it was. Given the relative success Mellon has had already (points wise if maybe not consistent performance wise) with a fairly average squad I've got full faith that they'll recruit the correct players to seal a playoff position. They'll know full well where our deficiencies are.

He's absolutely the man for the job. There's a lot of work to be done, not least the appalling home form, and we need new players in, but I still feel so much more confident with a proper manager with a proper CV in charge. The next month is massive; turn that home form around and get the right players in. If anyone can sort it I reckon Mickey can
