As Oldham fan? No full em he'll take them down! I just rate him as much as others. If he was here as many have touted previously his interview style alone would see fans turn on him. Some rate him but at the same time admit he has no pressure to succeed. He has failed in his only other job.

I can agree with all of that. I don't think he is a bad manager by any stretch I just don't get why the negatives about him can be ignored so easily but can we used just as easily to judge ex or present Oldham managers.

We have had plenty of our own lads come through into the first team. A portion of our fans turn on them but see Dales as doing very well. who has had more go onto a higher level.. us or them? Its easy to jusge the positives when you aren't watching how shit they are every week like at Boundary Park Dale fans were turning on Hill 10 games or so ago. They will again if they go down.

Doesn't change anything, they are bottom of the league. We wouldn't stand for that here but many admire him and Rochdale for it.

When our fans call for a manager to be sacked is the bank balance taken into consideration? Dales budget is common knowledge like ours. I keep missing this information. Healthy bank balance couldnt afford a new pitch without a massive cup tie and possible help?

If the difference between us and them is expectation then is he failing or have we been over achieving? We have consistently sold youngsters for £500k without ever kicking a ball in the first team. As consistently as they have produced players at any rate give or take 1 or 2 Our chairman has made poor decisions but our managers cant be blamed for that can they? Hill doesn't dictate income to the club so why give him credit for the money they received in fees?

Relegation again? Please enlighten the ones that don't see it. What is the bigger picture? and why is it thrown out of the window at Boundary Park if we don't win for 7 games
