  1. 2007/8 576 2006/7 Diff division 2005/6 Don't know, but remember it was around 400-500 as it was on Friday night
  2. Come on, loyal Latics fans wouldn't screw the club, would you?
  3. The club would insure your ST for £15 (or thereabouts) against theft or loss. It was announced at the time of ST sale.
  4. From KMK Dons fan site (The MooCamp): My thoughts from today. First half we were unlucky to go in one down - had we taken the penalty or Albie hadn't missed a sitter just before half time, I think it would have been a fair reflection on the chances in the first half. Having said that, at times in the first half I thought we were given a football lesson by Oldham today. They were first to every loose ball, they were playing for each other, and they looked like they wanted it more. Their control was better, their movement off the ball was better, and their movement with the ball was better. Jude was at fault for their first goal, but it started with Leven losing possession when Lewie was out of position, and Willie committed himself way too early, so all the blame shouldn't lie with him. Biggest dissapointment of the first half for me was Cummings - I don't know whether he was injured, but his head had dropped within 20 minutes and he didn't look interested from that point onwards. He lost possession frequently and never once looked to win it back. Shocking. I thought Sean and Jude both looked poor and uneasy throughout the first half, and Belsen looked poor. I thought Sammy was great in the first half, and I think he was very unlucky to have a goal disallowed. Now the second half... I'm struggling to remember a poorer performance from us than I saw in the second half today. We looked clueless. Cummings stayed on the pitch, yet Wright was subbed - I don't get that. Most of our threats in most of our games this season have come from Wright, yet Cummings strolled round the pitch with his hands on his hips for half of the second half. Jude got worse as the match went on, and defensively, we were being ripped open again and again. Only a few great saves from Willie kept the score respectable. We really missed Danny today, but i'd like to understand why Llera wasn't given a run out, either from the start or from the moment it was clear that defensively it wasn't working for us. Why Navarro and Johnson stayed on the bench (Nav for the whole match, JJ for 80 minutes or so) when Belsen and Cummings were struggling so much, I really don't understand. From talking to people who listened on horizon, we were unlucky not to get a point. From my perspective, we were lucky to not concede far more than we did. The text I got from the club said that Di Matteo thinks we had control of that game. I think he's insane. Much more balanced view than their manager!
  5. The rarely wrong Chron says he hasn't completely been ruled out against the Dons: 'Sheridan’s team selection for tomorrow could hinge on striker Lee Hughes, who is battling to get over a groin injury. Indications are that Craig Davies and Lewis Alessandra will continue up front, although Hughes still isn’t being ruled out.' Read what you will
  6. I've read that but when it comes to match fitness, things are rarely black and white.
  7. The main article has been pulled tonight
  8. Yeah, I've read that article a while ago - thought would have been pulled by now!
  9. On matchday, it will be a portacabin in the directors' carpark in front of the main entrance. England match kicks off at 7 pm.
  10. Quite. Look at the example of Darlington (3500 in a 25000 stadium). Only success on the pitch coupled with a new ground leads to increased attendance, such as Hull, Doncaster, Swansea.
  11. It says Saturday 6th September for Tranmere game on OS news today about ticket deal. As Andorra game doesn't kick off till 7 pm (live on Setanta), you can still get back from Tranmere in time (driving time about an hour from PP).
  12. Just show the wide gap between even an average/bottom-half Championship side and very good L1 side. Differences: They don't make silly mistakes. They don't lose ball. When attacking, they move the ball fast and find unmarked players. They have lethal finishing.
  13. I am not having that Though agree about footy team and ground
  14. On the eve of 2008-9 campaign, I think. Now that Eards has been called into the senior Wales squad (initially earmarked for under-21), it looks as though he has stepped into Davies' shoes - might put a strain on their friendship, I wonder?
  15. Preston is playing Derby on Tuesday 26th August, while Blackburn is facing Grimsby on Wednesday. So it looks likely that Burnley game will be on Tuesday.
  16. Don't know yet. But with three Lancashire teams all drawn at home (Preston, Blackburn and Burnley), police will probably request at least one of the games to be moved to Wednesday.
  17. Leeds are at home to Palace. Brighton are at home to Man City, whose tie will be played later as City is trying to qualify for UEFA Cup. For possible TV coverage, I'd say: Hartlepool vs West Brom Forest vs Sunderland Cheltenham Town vs Stoke City Brighton vs Man City (week later)
  18. If Lomax was injured, it couldn't have been too serious as I saw him lunchtime outside BP running up to chat to Simon Corney in his car.
  19. No, pilot was alone and was taken to hospital on non-life threatening injuries.
