    The problem is Setanta have got all the friendlies and home qualifiers, and FA cup games to that matter. At £12.99 a month it becoming just as expensive to sit at home than to go to the game. On to the game, can't really add anything to whats already been said, utter gash we had 11 blokes running about like headless chickens, capello did not have a clue, and i was initially pleased with his appointment. I do think James is our No 1 though.

    Wow can't believe i've only just spotted this thread! Agree with everything said so far, as a serving soldier its good to feel the support of the public. Having just left a really chushy job i'm now back doing proper soldier stuff, so could find myself out there very soon, but the most scary thought for me is the thought of missing latics games!!!

    I've sky+ it as i was in oldham ready for the match so haven't seen it yet, will watch it tomorrow. Must admit it is nowhere near the programme it used to be.

    For me the atmosphere wasn't much different to NYD, but i much prefered being in the 'cheese wedge' than behind the goal, the view was fantastic and i was right at the back row V, so no-one telling me to sit down!

    Think that is a bit OTT to be honest. Nobody had a bad game yesterday but i would put most of the team above lewis in the ratings. I'm not slating him as i like the kid, but he was often second best in challenges, but this was down to his inexperience and coming up against a player like Marques. I do agree with the Hughes/Lewis partnership, although i would like to see more of O'Grady

    I thought it was a good atmosphere in our end, just a little hard to get everyone singing at the same time, quite a few times there were 3 different songs being sung at the same time, but its all noise at the end of the day!!!
