The other day my mate lent me this and although my lap top didn't meet the requirements it needed to run i thought meh might as well give it a go. Installed it and it worked fine. Ran at a good speed, all the graphics were good and i was happy. Then after i'd spent all day on it it crashed on me. Since then it crashes every time i go on it after about five minutes. Can anyone explain this to me???

I hope thats not true. Don't want another has been striker. We might need a replacement but i agree with the above post that it should be a young lad with a point to prove. Get searching Penny!!

I'm not doubting how good they are or how good they could be. It's just that if they were up to the job i would have hoped that they would aleady have been given a chance in the first team to put pressure on greegs and hazell and since that hasnt happened i can only presume it's because they arn't quite there yet.

And what exactly happens when gregan and Hazell get injured?? Do we have any youth players that can play centre back?? Even if we did i doubt they'd be up to it (not that those two are alot of the time).

as we all know there are a lot of moaners on here but if we were at the top of the table like last year these people would still be moaning so its good that the majority of us dont pay them much attention. I'm not sure how many people use this board but im sure its only a 5th of the four to five thousand fans we get at home games. Most probabley not even that. I was just wondering how this board affects the club, how much notice is taken, do any of the players or staff read it. Is there any way the board could damage the club? Also can some one just tell me if the team travel to games like bristol over night?? or do the set off early in the morning? (got distracted half way through that and ended up typing something a bit different from what the title suggests)

Every time some one posts a stupidly negative post/thread and b*tches about the team/manager/club/tta just delete the post. It wouldn't be a fair system of course and isn't in the spirit of the forum but you know what, neither is constantly slagging off the team. I'd rather be happy in a totalitarian state than miserable in a democracey. Vote facism for a brighter tomorrow!

Shame, i was looking forward to a decent cup run this year and thats the only one we'd have any chance of doing well in. Well onwards and upwards, keep grinding out draws and the odd win and close in on that mid table finish

Fair enough, everyone deals with the pain of latics in their own way and it dosn't make people lesser fans if they do leave, at least they came to the match. It's the people who can't be bothered to turn up who are the lesser fans (legitimate reasons excluded of course)

Yeh i think if we get Blackman on a longer deal then we'l be waving goodbye to Byfield. Which i don't mind because i'm not really a fan of his. Maybe he should be given a start before we let him go, to let him prove himself. I doubt he'l be here for much longer though.

i know i know. like i said i'm not having a go i was just wondering what people thought and i hope your right. I had the same feeling about davies and look how that turned out. Although i accept that Abbott couldn't be a more different player. For one he works his arse off instead of standing still on the wing.

Looked sharp, think he justified starting again. He had a dig when he had sight of goal too which alot of others looked abit scared of doing yesterday

I've read alot on here from people praising him and posting positive things and i'm just wondering if i'm blind to how good he is. I'm not having a go but he hasn't looked anything more than average to me. To be fair i've only seen a couple of games and i don't think he's fit yet but still, i have a nagging feeling that he wont make it into double figures this season.Or even rack up many assists. I'll glady eat humble pie if i'm wrong though

I never leave early no matter how bad its gotton. And the biggest reason is i've spent 20 quid to be there and i'm determined to get every miserable/angry/happy/mystified/jubilant moment i can because thats alot of money!! Plus it's the magic of footbal than any thing can happen in the dieing seconds of a game so why leave? Your only hurting yourself!

Sky Sports are uploading all the league highlights, not too bad. Only a minute and a half but we didn't have too many highlights to show from saturday

I always liked JP when i saw him play and it's a shame that he never managed to break through, i'm sure not having a reserve team last season didn't help much but thats football i suppose. Good luck to him.

Didn't impress me at all today Abbott but i'm giving him time since he didn't look as sharp as maybe he usually when fit. Thought Parker worked hard and had a decent game, dosn't look like a goal scorer though. And Byefield was less than impressive. When they're 100% fit and used to playing in the team (no later than the beggining of september!) they should be able to do the job

...but i don't think we should have brought Gregan back, i'm a big greegs fan but i think he's just an easy 'solution' to a big problem. We conceded so many stupid goals last season that i find it hard to believe a new manager could look at our defence and think 'yeh ok we only need a couple of full backs'. He looked abit past it last season to be honest so i can only see it getting worse. Is it just me??? I havn't been to any of the pre season friendlies because im about £150 in the wrong and im going to have to beg steal and borrow to get to the first few games. So in all fairness he could be playing great. But i doubt it. Any one want to correct me??

To be honest i don't have any expectations of the guy, for me this season he can have us finish in 15th an i won't be too bothered, i'm determined to be patient, he has a whole season to work things out and build the team and a work ethic. I'll judge him next season. Thats when i expect us to be pushing back into the play off places, not this season.
