Southampton a class above and everying else thats already been said. Ignoring that and looking at us, i think Feeney should start the next 5 games with Tounkara and put Taylor back on the wing, he hasn't had a run of starts since recovering from niggling injuries and we need someone to score goals, i think he was trying hard tonight to show that he wants to play and score goals and i think PD should give him the chance.

To be fair he hasnt had anything like a proper chance, no run of games or anything like that and with injurys and pointless internationals and the fact that we have a system thats working and that doesnt include him he can't be anywhere near match sharpness. Having said that i doubt he'l get in the team now so he won't score the two league goals

Yeh just found out myself. Thats anoying, we were going to have a mini winter classic party too. After last night i doubt anyone will be staying up til past 4 am to watch it

Any one watching the winter classic today? It must be available free online somewhere (i have espn360) and it's on at 6 pm rather than 1 am. Should be a good game especially after they met last week. Going for a pens win agaon.

When will he get a game? I can't see the captain being dropped and big jean is playing too well to be dropped. Is he just going to stay in the reserves until his deal expires?

Just flicked through this thread and what a load of b*llocks, Jones has been played out of position all season and has ended up being dropped altogether, his confidence must be rock bottom. I say give him a couple of games in the middle and leave Stephens on the bench. I don't think he's a bad player and he must want to be here because didn't the club say there were championship clubs sniffing around him before we signed him?

Fortunately i'm in uni not work on Tuesday but if i had been in work i wouldn't be that happy with this either, if theres a couple of hundred people who have bought a ticket this way then there will be a very long que. Also my e mail didn't say what evidence we need to prove its our ticket when we get there. Yeh it is, i started following ice hockey last year (watched the Storm a few times as a kid) and i go to Phoenix games pretty much every week. They had a bad loss tonight but still top of the league. Also the Dallas Stars are my NHL team and the Latics emblem sits on top because it's the most important

I took two arm chair Utd fans to the Plymouth game (paid one in myself) and it was a very entertaining game. They both said that they had really enjoyed it but when i asked if they would come again they both said no. Because it costs £20. I think with a lot of Utd and City fans view football as something you see for free on the telly and if you were going to pay for it then it would have to be a very big game (like tonights derby for instance), i doubt that any schemes or lowering of prices (which could never happen anyway) will make them come and watch us. The only Manchester fans that might pay to see us are the ones who are more likly travel home and away and so would not be able to. As far as getting mates who say they support the club to come to games is concerned, i think most of us do that anyway

Sad that we have to think like that now. I'm not having a go, i agree with you but it's painful to have to sell our best young players just to try and survive. Especially since we seem to let them go for nominal amounts

7 Goals, 4 fights and a crap load of hits. What more could you want from a cross conference game? Stars v Pens was awesome (unless your a pens fan). It was good to see a team who's PP unit is currently worse than ours. Must admit Crosby won his fight with ease but it was good to see a big name dropping the gloves. Gonna watch the latest Devs game tomorrow, fingers crossed!

Do we know yet why the Devs coach made Kovalchuck a healthy scratch? Something about him not turning up to a meeting on time? Doesn't make much sense to leave him out when you need the win that bad, but i suppose with the contract he has now he needs to be put in his place if he starts to get lazy. Meh disapointed with the Devs bad start but happy with the stars start. Really expected it to be the other way round
