    Had enough clear cut chances to win two games today. Really frustrating. Much better performance though.... Oh, and the ref gave them everything....

    No different to Harry Redknapp saying that his wife Sandra could have scored that. Or all the other managers over the years saying similar things about certain attempts on goal. Philly's a big lad, I'm sure he can take it...

    Heard LJ being quoted on TalkSport today by H&J saying that his "five year old daughter could have hit the ball with more power than Philly" I assume referring to the one he missed from two yards.....

    Which put him in exactly the same boat as the other 9 outfield players!! As an aside, is it jut me or are we losing out on an awful lot at of headers at the back at the moment? Against Rovrum every time they pumped it up they won it, and we lost more than usual today too....

    The thing is though, Ross, just as most of us have been raving about the good performances so far this season, so we equally have a moan at the :censored: ones. And today was a game that I've seen a hundred times at BP. Not too dissimilar from Walsall at home earlier this season. And I'm not sure anyone has said "Johnson out" unless I've missed it...

    The midfield was awful today. Crewe had the run of the middle of the park. Couldn't string a pass together and there was little or no movement. I too though Rooney was unlucky to be subbed. More pissed off than worried, but if we don't get a win soon......

    That was crap. Slightly better 2nd half. But still crap. Can't even remember their keeper having to make a save. If we can't put an average side like Crewe away at home, something's up.....

    Been working on one for stewards after their heroics yesterday. It's a rough draft, but.... To the tune of "Liverpool slums": On your minimum wage, You're picking on fans making work for yourselves, You should be at Poundstretcher stacking some shelves, On your minimum wage..... I'll see about a second verse later on....

    Walking back through the ghost town that is Rotherham town centre, I actually saw a Rotherham shirter in a phone box. A PHONE BOX. Even our "scruffs" have mobiles.....

    I thought the commentary was decent, but I was a bit miffed not to get any mangerial reaction post game. Like I said before, there's so much shot and repeats on SS, like speedway and netball, they could have given the coverage another 20 mins or so....

    I'd rather they shifted us to SS2/3/4 and did a proper job!!

    Anyone else think that the coverage was a little lacking last night? No build up, not even ten minutes worth and no manager interviews afterwards! (Unless I missed it in my post game rage...) Grateful we were on, but would have liked a little more. Surely they'd have got a better audience than the :censored:ing speedway highlights or whatever pointless :censored: they were otherwise showing...

    It wasn't a foul and therefore wasn't a pen. However, these days, players go down in the box from minimal contact and officials buy it. Hate modern football....

    I thought there were many good performances tonight, the whole back four were superb as were Smith and Sid.
