    I'd rather Rooney stayed on and Philly went off tonight. His name was barely mentioned for 90 mins. Didn't do anything wrong particularly, but just didn't think he was involved much. With the amount of balls flying into the box, I'd rather Rooney was in there, despite his fluffed header.

    In a rare moment of motivational, get-up-and-go, I just rang the ticket office. They're not ready yet, but should be in "a week or so". Apparently the OS will announce when it's so. No letters/emails will be sent. Cheers lads....

    Bought mine through the 10 month finance thingy, which has been confirmed from the finance company, but I've had nothing from the club. Anybody else bought this way and had anything from Latics at all? When can they be collected? I know the obvious answer is "ring the ticket office", but I'm lazy. And this is easier. And there are colossal fonts of knowledge on here too...... Ta.

    Why are we all frothing at the mouth over the "build up"? It was one short news piece - hardly sensationalism. The only people who built it up were those on here or on Twitter etc....

    Cheers lads. It was seriously scary :censored:. Genuinely thought the boat was going to capsize and we were going in the drink, and given the riptides, could have ended up anywhere. Still, it wasn't as bad as Rotherham away all those years ago...... ;-)

    Jesus H Christ. It's a drum we're talking about. Not merging with FC Utd, for :censored:s sake. If some of this frankly astonishing passion that's being displayed about a musical instrument could be shown at the games, this thread wouldn't even exist.....
