Expecting to hear something in the next fortnight, but qualified that statement by saying that he feels foolish saying that as the number of times it has been delayed for various reasons has made him look foolish in the past. GMR asked him about funding for the move and he said there was some money set aside, but not enough for the whole project. Other funding would need to be brought in! He then was asked about PD and GT and the job they are doing. Said he was very pleased so far! That's all I can remember!

I think we may be in for a disappointing 2-1 defeat, unfortunately. Can't see the crowd being much more than 3500 etiher. But you never know with younger players they may be really up for the challenge!!!!

OK Guys and Gals, I was mulling over yesterday's games with a few pints like you do.. and a thought struck me!!!! I've been a supporter of Latics since 1984ish and I cannot recall a game were we scored 3 headed goals........ Coming back on the best foreigner to play in the premiership, that would be his team mate at the Scum from Denmark. Peter Schmeichel. By far the most consistent foreginer that has played in our country.........he was pretty good too!

Unfortunately he was that good. I have never seen any player with the same poise on the ball that he had and the sheer presence of him on the field won many games. Why Leeds sold him to the scum I will never know but he was as instrumental in turning the scum around as Ferguson, in my opinion. Incidentally he made his debut in English football at Boundary Park for the Yorkshire Anti Christs and got a good spanking of the Latics - 2-0 but it could have been many more............

I agree on this point and have to relate this to when Lewi Allesandra has been on the pitch. Lewi has brought the midfield into the game better than any other player this season. Simple correlation for me, when Lewi is playing we play better. Would like to see Taylor on right and Lewi on left as I feel this will stretch opposition better than any other combination.

Looks like it was only published today and I certainy haven't heard ofSports Solutions GB before in any of the other articles. May be the club feel that the land swap is a done deal! If they do then I hope they have insider info. because Iwon't beleieve it until the ink is dry on the contract. Incidentally I have just emailed the 3 councillors concerned (very politely) to see what time frame they have been given to try and resolve the charitable land swap. I hope it's not an open ended job. I will let people know if I get a response from any of them!
