  1. i think I remember the official site saying that we are going to have an all white kit as 3rd kit. Might be my dodgy old memory though....
  2. Just seen chaddy winning the mascot Olympics on Sky Sports News..... Lets hope he can bring that winning mentality back to BP. Well done big birdy!!!!!!
  3. Just read the Southend website preview for tomorrows game and they have a piece about Scott Vernon as he is coming back to where his career started. It mentions that he is out of contract this summer. Does enybody else think he could do a job for us next year?
  4. With a goal ratio of 1 every 2 games, even half fit we might get 1 in 4..... better than what we are doing now!
  5. AH told me at the meeting tonight that the 4 stands on their own give us the 12K capacity. With all four corners added this would be more like 16-17K
  6. I had a good chat with AH at the preview tonight. Currently talking to a Primary Care Trust with a vfiew to putting pyhsiotherapy unit in one of the corners. Revenue also would come from a possible Harvester type family pub using the Lancaster Club building, a multiplex cinema, Sport Bar, Footy Pitches and there was sommuat else but I can't remember.
  7. Low Crompton - Mainly farmland between Royton (Dogford Rd) and High Crompton
  8. I beleive that the MEN are putting all the letters re: the stadium move in today's edition. Should be worth a look when it comes out!
  9. The MEN have done a decent piece on the move with absolutely no bias whatsoever - take note Mr Chron Editor........ MEN - New Stadium Article They have also got a decent piece about leaving BP. Farewell to BP
  10. Yes I remember that performance at Spurs. Our whole family were down London for a wedding on the Sunday. Managed to persuade my Dad to got to the match (he was a lapsed Latics fan). 15 minutes into the game 3-0 down after two of the most sublime and inch perfect passes to the spurs strikers, unfortunately both from Gerrard, and he never went again...... It was game over!!!! Not happy! Thanks for reminding me of that, it's much funnier now than it was at the time!
  11. I Hope your source is wrong Mr Blue..... I hoped we would get at least a million for him if he did go, but 750K is not to be sniffed at.
  12. Liverpool looking at Micah (5M) according to NOTW.
  13. Just found this on the Centre of Excellence pages for contact details: Contact Us Address: Youth Development Department, OAFC, Boundary Park, Oldham, OL1 2PA. Telephone: 0871 226 1665 E-mail: All staff can be contacted at tanya.blakey@oldhamathletic.co.uk. Good Luck!
  14. You need to contact mick priest who runs the centre of excellence at BP. Nice bloke very approachable. If you contact the club switchboard I am sure they will give you his number or email address. What will happen from there I don't know! I do know that the open trials for all the junior teams where done in May for next year, but certainly worth getting in touch with Mick.
  15. The back page of the MEN tonight says that John Wardle (the Ex Man City chairman - who is also worth a bob or too) has started talks re: investing money into the Latics, as a direct result fo the Royle appointment. http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/spo...yles_revolution Read it for yourself, but this would certainly help TTA's commitment to be longer term, dependant of course as to whether they can do a deal! Hope they can, they deserve to get a bit of finiancial help at the moment!
  16. KEEP THE FAITH was on the huge flag that we took to Wembeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrllllleeeeeeeeeeeeeyyyyyyy which was due to a direct quote form a Mr Joe Royle, well before that Torex idiot was involved with he club! It is probably more apt to say it now than at any other time in the recent past!
  17. I'm failry certain that Scunny would have said the same walking out of BP earlier on in the season. Absolutely delighted to get Jones back. Taylor's dip in form has coincided with not having a true support player on the left wing. When he has the freedom to play the ball down the wing for the overlapping defender, his forays inside onto his right foot are much more affective. Those two alone tore Scunny apart at BP and will do the same against other teams I'm sure. Losing davies, o'grady - I don;t personally think we have lost out - alright Davies has the potential to score, but he also has the potential to wreck the dressing room. O'grady tried hard but didn;t click at BP, hope he goes on to have a good time wherever he's gone. Keeping Hughes, Taylor and getting Jones again is a positive transfer window as far as I am concerned. I think our form will pick up shortly, just because we are playing better teams. Our main problem this year has been preaking teams down who are happy to come and defend well! Leeds, Leicester, Millwall, MK Dongs won't be going out to do this and this will play into our teams hands! How's that for pot half full!!!! lol
  18. Once you have downloaded the item you should be able to play it however many times you wish, as you orginally had the license when downloading. New clips request a new license when you play / download them!
  19. Just listened to both the managers interviews from yesterday's game. Darren Ferguson's comments have amazedf me. They were both fair and complimentary about the Latics. He must have got a fair amount of his mothers genes. Very psotive about the Latics ability to be up there at the end of the seaoson, noted that he thought the first pen wasn't a pen, and also pointed out the fact that our quality players are as good as anybodies in the division. PS: Hope that the players he mentioned especially Hughes and Taylor don't go in January.
  20. Our respective all time records show a great deal of difference between the clubs. Historical tables show details for all clubs ever to have played in the English football league since its inception in 1888. Club names have been changed to their current name where appropriate. Unless otherwise stated, points are given as defined in each season; i.e. 2 points for a win prior to 1981-82 and 3 points for a win thereafter. Team Ov. Pos. Ssns Pld W D L F A Pts Pct Oldham 39 84 3632 1331 928 1373 5231 5337 3913 47.7% Rochdale 71 74 3288 1095 842 1351 4441 5124 3338 44.3% Every team has peaks and troughs Rochdale are at a relative peak in their history and Oldham a relative although not their worst trough. No comparison between the two clubs really. IMHO Would love Rochdale to get promoted and do well. Would also love the Latics to finally turn this corner and move back upwards.
