    There's only one to play this, especially if your DK and you're under pressure already. Go for the jugular 100% as there is little point planning for a day in the future where you might not be there.

    We beat them 4-1 yes, also finished 6th that season, so not all bad.

    Why? Perhaps the feeling is that there are enough UK based players available so there is no need to pay the airfares of foreign based players.

    Yes. Or they don't pay for travel for overseas players or the budget has already been used up? You'll have the same issues in the biggest companies in the world. They may spend millions on something which might not prove to be any good, but won't spend £100 on something that will give lots of value, because there is no budget for it. God knows if this is the case, but you can't assume that the club cannot afford something by the decision it makes.

    Yes i'd probably agree. That was my point. The club may have decided not to fund travel costs of trialists as small amounts add up. Which may have been why DK went to Playershare, as there may have not been a budget for it. So yes, quite agree that Playershare needs to consider the same, do they have a budget for this? N.B. It seems an odd thing to ask for generally, but it could make a good story in the future: '£27m Hiwat signs for Real, had his plane fair paid by Playershare'!!!

    My mother-in-law was hospitalised for three weeks by migraines and still doesn't have feeling in one side as a result of them.

    I always use Hartlepool FC's FAQ on the SCMP which has proven to be very useful, it says: 'Any donation to a club can be included in the turnover figure, as long as when the money is given there is no expected repayment by the donor – clubs can’t rely on large cash loans to include in their income.'     I agree. Most of the time it will be individuals speculating based on partial/limited information and their own opinion.

    A population of over 1m but not sure about boundaries and are they a multi club city? Clubs like Leyton Orient must have a pretty bad population to attendance ratio.

    He was quick - we sorted that out well between us ;) Though there is quite a bit of stuff on the interweb that suggests that executive chef and head chef are similar/the same in my defence. I'm sure I've heard the term 'Development Chef' being used before for his kind of role???

    Sorry Singe, plenty of info if you google 'Executive Chef' that suggests the role (in general) is heading up the kitchen. He's confirmed on Twitter that he will be cooking (though to what extent we'll see). As you say, I'd imagine it would be for the hospitality in the OEC.

    I did think that at first but given he's not worked professionally as a chef before, I think he will be more closely involved, Exec Chef is another name for head chef, though I can imagine it being used by those in consultancy type roles as well as you say.

    The world beater/panel beater does sum him up well. Scored a couple of blinders in the season we sacked him, check out the goals against Stevenage and Rotherham. If he maintains focus, he'll be quite effective.
