He gives the ball away a ridiculous amount, doesn’t get forward that much, bit of a crab. As seen last season doesn’t score as many as he should. Can’t defend for shit, can’t tackle, shit set piece delivery... He’s not the worst we have, but people massively overrate him.

I’ve gone for Hunt. Made a few vital interceptions and last ditch tackles. Defended well against tricky opponents and had no protection from the near on anonymous nepo. Graham and Edmundson played well too.

The midfield gets walked through with Gardner in it. He can’t tackle or track a man for toffee. the views on Gardner baffles me...

Is there a limit to how many of these you can have before serious action takes place such as legal bodies stepping in and taking ownership of the club and putting us in admin or liquidation? Genuine question.

Why did the manager change a system that was working? With Byrne and Gardner right next to fane? And spread the latter two further out wide. And as you say... Byrne isn’t a winger and won’t track his full back. And as a manager wellens should have solved that. Look at the best creative mids in the world and the number 10s and you’ll see That barely one of them has to run back and defend. That’s why fane and Gardner were in the team.

The Latics fans behaviour towards Byrne is embarrassing. And you wonder why players never want to stay here? not one person has one bit of proof of his attitude or his behaviour.
