That was absolutely shambolic from the management. I can’t take anything away from the players, they are doing ok for what they are being dealt... apart from Gardner... he’s a fraud. May as well not play with any midfielders at all, especially away. Thought Iverson, Clarke, edmundson, hunt and Missilou were outstanding. Gardner and the forwards were embarrassing. Long ball after long ball which comes straight back at us and we are under constant pressure. We only ever create anything once Baxter comes on... START HIM. O Grady is painful to watch sometimes but he’s alright with Surridge next to him, not another big lump like miller. Taylor struggled but he always does when Nepo isn’t in front of him. When surridge isn’t fit, he must start Lang up front with o Grady and he must find a shape to play Baxter in too. Its alright saying we don’t concede and we are unbeaten away but we don’t even try and win a game, we were time wasting from the 20th minute tonight... if we actually attacked then we would be a lot higher than 8th cause this league is absolute shocking. And we aren’t exactly tearing it up at home. Team selection and tactics are a huge problem and he’s in danger of things turning sour very quickly. Dont even lie and say you try and win games either... cause you don’t.

Doesn’t mean we have to play two cloggers... we have Lang, Baxter and benteke. Rather start him and go for it from the off instead of the last 20 mins.

The two obvious ones is enough... But he’s got two absolute cart horses up top who will be lucky to get 5 between them all season... two players playing out wide where one is a right back and one is a forward. The most creative and talented player on the bench. Along with the two most natural wide players... one who was bang in form a few weeks ago...

To be fair... im not discounting gerrard being a massive c*** but let’s not ignore the fact he’s a good defender for this level... Will be a tough game especially with lord shez being back. Hooefully we go more attacking and try and win the game!

This league is confusing as fuck. Decent point tbf. i take peoples point on board that we started well and steady and sit in the play offs... however, let’s have some fucking ambition... this league is absolute shite. And with better tactics, we would be sat alongside Lincoln at the top.

Hope he leaves a player up field when defending set pieces. Colchester had 4 players out of the box at one point and we had all 11 in or on the edge of the 18 yard box...

Strange this league, I keep thinking we play shocking... but still think we have deserved more out of games. Even today we were two goals down twice and I still thought we were the better team whilst still being pretty shit. definitely needs to sort his tactics out at home, different style of play, more on the front foot. And I think we need to sacrifice O Grady and maybe even a midfielder to accommodate Baxter. Away from home it works well as results have shown. But that first half was shocking... only the O Grady chance sticking out which he should have scored. Too many sideward and backwards passing with nobody taking a risk until the last 10 mins. Defence were all over the place and the goals we conceded were comical and our own doing. Playing Lang on the wing at home doesn’t seem to work, nepo is a much better outlet and Taylor improves and plays much better with him in front. Surridge is different gravy though and let’s just hope we can keep hold of him without anyone buying him. Will easy get 20 goals if he stays fit. If we can sort home tactics out then we will be there or there abouts... the teams in this league aren’t great.

I do agree we need more songs about individual players... just not this one. Bored of the same old crap like taking over your town and the copied shit the athleticos sing.

Deyres is right... if we won 7-0 there would be comments about the management and players praising them... talk about who should be pushing for the first team. Selling Hamer for 600k and a 70% sell on clause etc. So in a 7-0 defeat why are we not allowed to talk about players and performances and such like? Without being constantly put down as negative twats etc. No middle ground with a lot of posters.

Don’t give a shit about the game or the result. However the battering these players are taking isn’t good. Few players on on the fringes of the first team... some players showing they just aren’t good enough.

To say they youth players at the back are supposedly the next big thing for us... they don’t half concede a shit load of goals. I’ve not been impressed with graham one bit since he’s come in, I’d bin him and bring in a player with a bit more experience.

Surely there can be more interesting events than this put on? How about a manager or chairman one?
