    It's still the case that he's misses 1:1s in every game I've seen this season, starting about three minutes in at Southend Popping half of those in might well have made the difference

    Can't say I know anything about the set up at Halifax but is there any reason why the football club would be able to claim primacy?

    We know that the agent who bigged up Walker was David Eyres, and he gets a free pass with some because of his status here. Still failed to make any meaningful impact wherever he's been.

    I do wonder when people started getting cross about 'soccer'. It was certainly referred to as hat pretty commonly when I was growing up and i don't recall anyone having an epi about it.

    Really? I can't say I follow the comings and goings at United's academy very closely

    I'm not suggesting we change but I am sure there are plenty of young thrusting academy coaches that would be up for it. Find me an Ipswich fan who'd heard of McKenna before he was appointed

    Very possible that we'll be watching either Braintree or Chelmsford next season. Both places I've been to (although Braintree have a new ground now) for what were local derbies in Conference South. Chelmsford would be a whole new level of Southern Leisure Centre, it having a single stand and being in the middle of an athletics track
