    The Latvian lad is playing today against Burnley with the other kids behind closed doors. He was at the back of the main stand last night.....cant speak a word of the queens and looks about 12 but he is about 7 foot !!! Also, was speaking to David Worrall who was watching last night, said he agreed to sign after two meetings with Johnson and wanted to come but Latics wouldn't throw up the 50k that Bury were holding out for. Now moved on to Rotherham who offered him a much better deal anyway.

    One of the Frankfurt lads who comes over (Stefan) owns a very nice B&B in a little town called Fulda (just outside Frankfurt). Think its called Guesthouse Rheinblick or something. I stayed for the world cup with him, very welcoming chap! Drinks on the house and all that ;-) Fulda centre has a few nice little bars. Train to Frankfurt direct takes about 10-20min if i remember.
