is outline planning permission still in date from previous plans???? do we actually need full planning consent considering the stand used to be there,the footprint is still there....do we actually know how far down the road we are with talks?????....designs could already exist for all we know....the council have announced it,now upto the club topull its finger out and get it going....breaking ground this side of christmas would be a bonus.... steelwork and precast terracing wouldnt take long to sort by an experienced company...no reason why it cant be completed in 6 months from breaking ground...

a very long way to go....the council need to be seen to be doing something,they have now announced plans to regenerate hollinwood and are saying the lancaster club can become some form of sports complex...and are also saying the money is for a stand only.... corneys saying his mates are gonna get some....cant see it,council wont allow it...plus blitz has always said he wont call his loans in in a hurry until were financially sound...be an interesting week this one i feel...

how big do you think this stand is going to be???? have you any idea of the size it would need to have a five a side complex built into it... plus the fact that this money,listening to all whos talking means that the council will own the lancaster club and the land it sits on,and are already talking about making it a community sports or athletics complex...

its more deflating to train hard all week,make the squad then sit watching knowing your not going to play....personally think 7 subs was stupid idea in the first place.

just checked train line and on the 13th leaving at 05:25 or 06:10 getting into yeovil junction for 11:27 or 11:38 the price for a single is £37.50

do you not think its more a case of the council saying...look we know we dropped you in the :censored: with failsworth,if we give you this cash please dont sue us... and yes,there are plenty of other places available to build on in oldham... so if were going down the community route,in reality what could they put in to the build????? as i see it if its going to have a hotel and conferencing facilities,there wont be any room for community things...we cant put a cinema into it,there building one in hollinwood,and possible a bowling alley....so i really dont see this new stand being a community project,money will be made from hotel group and conferencing,which makes a mint...

i like designs 4 and 5 think what were forgetting though is those are totally finished stadiums...ours wont be anything like that for a good few year i feel... get this new main stand done with the facilities n hotel etc,then i reckon season after its completed new roof on chaddy...then maybe season after that the current main stand...

has to be fit for purpose,but also the insides have to be substantial to cope with all manner of things,if we cant have lounges for drinking in then enough bar/food points on the concourse,with tv screens showing results as there coming in....dont go for the same :censored: burger n pies route,just because it has always been,other grounds do different things so dont see why we cant. if its having a hotel and conferencing then those will be seperate from the matchday,so fan consideration must be taken into account.like i have said on a previous thread,the marketing dept should be acting now to prepare a downloadable questionaire for fans,just download it fill it in then post it back...

nimbys havent got a leg to stand on over just a new stand...they are not resurecting the original plan of the 80 million scheme,which included all those flats n the like...there is already a footprint of a stand there,so to obtain permission for just a new one,with added extras wont be so much of a problem. yes people can moan,but there used to be a stand there,so there moaning will be unjustified and wont have any effect whatso ever

figures have to be wrong...im sure corney has said the lancaster club was bought for 3.5 mill....no way the council would pay 5.75 for it...

if the council are providing funding,how can he give it away,thought it was for the new stand????

i honestly cant see them moving the pitch....far too much work to do that for say next seaon,plus the cost as well...would need to ground share,and develop chaddy end and rre at same time..wont happen...

i like the man stand idea....but maybe a 2 tier stand split with the conferencing suites,the options could be endless there because there is a lot of land to play with... also like the one bp1960 posted in a restricted area,however i think our current main stand area is deeper than that one,so maybe something different could be done,in time..

your right there are plenty of offers on for solar energy at the moment...and im sure if your talking large scale like latics would be then a deal would be made im sure...and they dont even need sun to produce energy,just daylight... harvesting rainwater is all well and good,providing you have a good filtration system in place there is no reason why this cant be done and used for the toilets and even the pitch sprinklers.... will have a look at those programes mentioned and have a play about...cheers
