i have heard lowe is coming in from blackburn again,but not sure if its month 3 months or season long,but i dont think he is what we need in all honesty.. were crying out for a wellens/kilkenny/shez type playmaker in the centre...striker goes without saying...

its an any signings thread....or cant you distinguish between the two...

so are we going to finally make any signings this week then???? given the fact furball is out we still havent had "star" striker materialise,and the squad is paper thin and couldnt win an argument at the moment... or are we just going to chug along with a mountain to climb....

so the manager just stays silent and says,well at least it wasnt 5..we scored one so thats good..we had some good moments so alls not lost....utter booloks you carry on nuresmaiding them and pussy footing about with them and that when complacency sets in,thats when they think its acceptibale to put that kind of performance in all the time,because they know they wont get a rollacking from the boss.... the players are responsible and the manager is as well....but once they cross that white touchline its down to them....you can train and teach them game play all week and do well,but if they ignore your instructions and dont do as you ask your knackered....

not as frustrating as training them all week then drilling them on game play only for it all to fall away because they dont listen properly.....how pissed off would you feel if it was you... if there is no desire or hunger ship em out or stick in ressies n put kids in,shake em up.....its an honour to wear the shirt and badge and get paid handsomely to do so,least they can do is put a shift in

cant do the link thingy..but on bbc sport website league 1 dickov has given a radio interview to gmr and slated the players...questioned there desire and yes,unacceptable was mentioned....but at least he is ver y honest and humble with his replys.... corney will have to dig deep or dickov find a beanstalk in his garden in next few days cos if it continues the crowds will drop off....

to be fair to that though did dickov know we couldnt sign him???? was he told he would be able to get him,as i see it if there was no chance at all of ever standing a chance of signing him,he wouldnt have played him so many times... we need 3 maybe 4 decent signings in next 2 weeks...if we dont get them this is what it will be most weeks,with the odd draw and victory thrown in when least expected....

be far happier if he came out and said i apologise for that performance....rather than the usual comments and give me time plea.....there must be only him and taggart still believeing this squad is better than last seasons....

decent players im affraid...thats the answer....3 new ones at least needed before window shuts....going to be a very long season otherwise.... far far far too early to even suggest dickov out....but he needs to do something quick before the doom merchants hound him out......why cant we score from open play???

depends if its bad or not,if its just a clean out be a lot quicker maybe 3-4 weeks,if its a big tear probably be at least 8 weeks.... big blow this....we still havent got the striker we need....and now urgently need a creative midfielder...not lookin good this...

thing is if hes willing to drop down to league 2 i suspect he just wants to play....he is a very frustrating player...but maybe has a point to prove,and he knows us....suprised chesterfield arent in for him..

he is only in the 500k bracket because there now premier league..regardless of whether he is or not...so they can demand what they like...he's there player... maybe going for a cody mc type is unrealistic....but id much rather go for someone like this and get turned down or priced out rather than just settle for has been journey man striker,as shez did.... maybe 20 goal a season strikers are unrealistic..but look at lowe at bury...started where he left off last season,scored 3 goals in two games now but his age makes him surplus to dickovs requirements of young and hungry... whichever way we go i just hope its sorted sooner rather than later...later maybe too late,we lose again on saturday and its going to be a very long season...

me too....you only have to look at penis penney who signed any old joe,cough.... the one thing for me is we need a quality front man...reid isnt it,feeney wasnt it,tonks wasnt it...smith has bags of potential and we have brooke n bembo-lita...all of which could mature quickly and come good.....we have invested in a decent defence in diamond n signing big jean...just because we lose the first game to ex championship side aiming to get back up at first attempt....people are now questioning anything and everything.... you can throw as many negative stats out as you like.....dickov needs to be given time as did big joe,and we all know where we went with that.... talk about mountains out of molehills...
