i'm wondering the same... italian clubs wont help out,there as bent as blatter.. the way to change things about is to get some high profile ex player/s involved for election....people who are squeaky clean and there name/s stands for honesty and integraty,then you can manipulate the systems and change things...but whilst the greedy league get huge potfulls of cash from fifa and euefa it wont happen

your a right kill joy at times diego... he has made his position quite clear yes...but he admits himself he made a mistake with england,one of his major reasons was to prolong his club carear and to be not spending so much time away from his family... so players dont renage on what they said a few months earlier and come out of retirment once they realise just how much they will miss playing???? living round the corner would help on the family front..... until the club come out and say it,paul scholes will never play for oldham athletic at any time..people will always speculate.....and they have every right too as well

wait until the end of july when darth hardy works his magic and gets scholesy out of retirement,we will sell loads more then,lol

fair play to him but i would hope we would at the very least contact him to sound him out about doing a 12 month stint with us....

they obviously didnt offer him enough or long enough then... glad he has got fixed up and found his level...never really pushed on in the last 3 years,happy to just plod along,maybe his doing well out on loan has made him realise he can do it and now wants to be at it again,but starting off at the bottom again and building up...

thats it,it is a gamble...but so is signing an experienced player(feeney) you just never know....the advantage of the non league player is that they are keen to get on and do well,live the dream....wasnt that long ago fitz hall,jermain beckford, dj campbell were playing non league...

why would it be stupid??? its an initiative other clubs are doing,with the effect that most 16,15,14 year olds will go to games with there mates....most kids under that wont,they will have to be accompanied by an adult,its a lot more attractive to going knowing that instead of 23 your paying 20.....might only be 3 quid but its enough some times...

you would get an instant lift....and maybe a few hundred or so who were undecided about a season ticket would get one....the increase would be on pay per day fans coming in...add to that if the season gets off to a good start and builds and builds,and promotion is a real possibility,then a fair few more would come back as well... like has been said,he is a very shy and inobtrusive bloke,keeps himself to himself and loves being at home with his family.....he has wont almost everything going medal wise,and will either accept a 12 month extension or retire....if he says he wont renew at the reds then thats the time for our club to get things going and keep it going until he says yes or no....

happy days eh..pitch was shocking...but the atmosphere was fantastic,and the hunger drive and commitment....games like these should be used as motivation for the current team...show them how to do it

exactly...if you read what both hardy n dickov has said,a few hundred grand wont do it....rather have him here...he is contracted,and wont let him go on the cheap... after all this being said there would be uproar if he went for 250k...

realistic to who??? if mr hardy is correct in saying that the budget will be improved by monies from transfers out then dickov will want as high a price as possible....stephens wont go anywhere for under 500k....lee is out player of the season and under contract...price might be right but then again might not be,same with furman,taylors price has been everything from 250k to a million in recent years..again he is contracted,is an oldham lad....and actually wants to stay here....plus finished as our leading scorer...

the club will know the actual amount of over 65's who attend games and buy season tickets....so how can you dispute it???,just because they dont all sit near you...

bout time isnt it..hasnt lee just signed a new deal though??? pleased he is happy to come back and basically put himself in the shop window whilst helping us try to achieve our targets....
